They know it was and they are working on finding me another bike. I doubt based on your location that it was your dealership.

It sucks.

Never ever let a customer walk when ur in the sales business... especially when they are there wanting to buy the bike right then and there... the only time u should turn them away is if and only if the other client has put down a deposit... money talks... theres a lot of what ifs that could happen and the customer you turned away for the guy who hasnt shown anything could cost u a sale. he should have put down a deposit. that means for a certain period of time that bike has ur name on it. its like buying a house.. it will be a pending sale to that specific person. now unless they sold the bike that already has a deposit put down then thats BS... that i would be and would not even consider doing business with them at all.. GL on finding another.. theres many 08 busas.. i do however understand its a waste of time dealing with there bs..

Tex is a little far. I should be able to deal here. , I already had a deal that made me happy once. I'm gonna have to give them the chance to make it right.

Of course they're trying to "make it right". Its not because what they did to you is shitty, its because its another paying sale just like the one they were lucky enough to make today. Its how they make their living you .

8 out of 10 customers that say they're about to buy a bike & leave never come back. I don't even think you could get odds on how many people that call about bikes actually buy them. There may not be a number that small. I'm sure you sound really honest on the phone but people lie as a rule. Even the people who are telling the truth just plain change their mind at the last minute.

Kick your own for being so cheap that you didn't agree to a deposit. My guess is fifty bucks would've held that bike until you got there.

Still upset about this? Crazy. The dealer took cash in hand over a promise to pay. While you might not like it, it's a reasonable practice. If you wanted to ensure you'd have the bike, you should have put down a deposit. Now the dealer is trying to help you find another bike and you are still ? Crazy.

from what the other guy is saying is that they are not trying to find him a bike because they feal bad but because they want to sell him a bike make money, that still is not right !

yea that is how they make money but come on a guy says yea ill take it and you sell it ! still not right !

if i told you i was going to get the money right now from my bank ill be back in ten min would you sell it out from me, or would i get my full 10 min to prove myself as a customer?

its all about makeing each other happy so that you will continue to do buisness with one another !

i can see how they would want the deff deal being how the world is turning now adays but come on the guy gave you the info to his bank told you wher to send the paper work, that he was app and it was just a matter of crossing the t and dotting the i, that sounds like a sold bike to me !
