I'm not gonna read all three pages, but if you didn't put down a deposit, you have no cause to be mad IMO.

That's what the deposit is for, to hold the bike and keep someone else from buying it.

Again, just my opinion.

I haven't been selling very long, but I can tell you that's the way the cookie crumbles in any sales business. My salesmanager, who has been doing this for 10 years, says that 80% of customers who have a buyer's order faxed to their credit union never come back. They are going to sell to whoever puts up the money first. Also, if their is no legal tender connected to the sale, it's legally discrimination to refuse to sell to the next person. That's why everyone asks for a deposit- it's not a ploy or a joke, they are serious about it selling the next day.

Why would I give a deposit on a bike that as far as I was concerned was paid for. One call and it was done. They called at 3 and I told them I would be there. I told them I had ins. We made the deal at 5pm yesterday I had the PO sent to the bank at 9 A.M. today and I was there a little before 4. You car dealers don't have to take my side. He did admit I was an exception to the rule. But my word is my word. I expected the same from them. I'm sorry your jobs makes you guilty of the same behavior as I have discussed here.
Taking the bike without signing and without a draft letter from your credit union is total bs... nobody will do that, they could lose their a**! They have to answer to the company that floors their bikes, as well as the state of Texas. (By the way, "flooring" is through a company, they don't actually pay off every unit on their lot until it's sold. If they let you leave without money and you wreck the bike, they still have to pay the flooring company) It's not gonna happen dude.

As far as I am concerned it was SOLD. I just hope you can see that. I'm all about my word. Anyone who knows me will attest to this. I have a right to be . Just because you deal with FOS people all of the time does not mean you have to join the club.
