Backwoods Bar and Grill

Just recently found a couple friends I used to work with out in Palau, Micronesia. Turns out they are right up around Cleveland and have opened a bike themed bar and grill. Frank and Jess Ladner are two of the coolest folks I know. Frank is a captain and ran our competitons boat out there. Jess is a trained chef and makes food you remember years later. Her burgers are worth the ride out there in the rain!! Once the weather warms up a bit I'll be making the trek regularly, if you are looking for someplace new to try on a SMR, stop in and see Frank and Jess at the Backwoods Grill. They are located in the heart of the S.Houston National Forest so the sceneery is great and the roads are twisty. Tell'em Buck sent you and you'll get the full treatment. Check them out..........http://backwoodsbargrill.com/index.html

They just opened it in October last year. Right now it's only open Thur-Sun. Frank has a racers soul, but had to compromise with the wife and runs a dirt track car. He'll become a familiar face at LMS events and he's a guy I'd endurance with. And be sure to pet Dino the 160# Rotweiler..........
