Grandsport Speedway

Looking at everyone's trackday schedule I only count 5 trackdays at GSS (4 with TTD and 1 with Ride Smart), and none during June/July/August timeframe. Are there other "racing" events out there during the summer?

Call the track and ask- I don't think they have a calendar on the web site, but you may check there too.

I checked their website, and as you state, there was no info on there. At $3000, for a weekend rental, I'm figuring it must be booked with alot of "Car/kart" events.

If you like GSS, the trip to Cresson will be well worth the 3.5 hours it takes to get there!

check our schedule and sign up for any of the Friday events there where your motard will reward you for bringing it to this fantastic track. 1.3 miles of undulating smooth pavement.

You won't regret it!

During the months you listed, we'll also be at TWS (Texas World Speedway), which is only about 1.5 hours away. During those months, I enjoy Cresson the most because it tends to be less humid and a bit cooler.

TWS (Texas World Speedway)/ Cresson/ Oak Hill...

And before you say "TWS (Texas World Speedway) is too big for my 'tard", ask Jody Hudson about that. He was killing that track on his Ape!

i just wanted the guys with the 1000's to trip out when a dirtbike passed them in the corners and wheelied away from em but other than that the straights are a tad too long for the tards. backin it into the horseshoe is always nice tho

I was having a ball on that 750 watching you come around. , I think you came around me 2 times on the outside of the horseshoe! Good times!

Yeah, the 1k dude was a little spooked, then I buzzed him right after that... I wonder if he ever ended up racing after that... maybe that's why Walter doesn't like me to do the mock races!

I may very well try Cresson this year.

Hit our first Cresson even of this year, it's a pre-race weekend, lots to do and see. The 1.3 will be open for "street" riders.

Sunday the 22cnd is a 1.7 mile track day.

All the Fridays have a 1.3 mile option.

I love the 1.3 and 1.7 on all bikes but the 1.3 is quite motard friendly.

+1

the 3.1 is a killer work out as well and a little easier on tires than the 1.7

Fo sho Marteeeen, the 1.3 is very easy on tires. Reminds me of when MBSLRC was new...
