Dang. I don't have anything dragging loose, so I'm sure it's the box like Keith said. It should be pretty simple to attach a cable, though? Get a new one and fix that chit. I really did have to pass some slow cars today... I can't imagine thinking I'm going too slow for two months!! That will just get me in trouble.

So, it's more difficult than I thought to get that piece off and since I'm not willing to take it apart and not be able to get it back together, it needs to see the dr.

Also, I noticed that the odometer is no longer working- makes sense, since the 'fingers' that guage the speed are also keeping track of the mileage. So... I put 50 miles on the bike today that didn't show up... Should I keep track of that, or will a few hundred miles not matter in the long run?

Speed of traffic is always too slow. Even with a speedometer.

I have a light for that! And no odometer, now, so if I were depending on that I would be fukked.

i dont have any gauges, ummm... last time i did. the road decided i didnt need a speedo. so i ride till it hits reserve. i have no idea how many miles i have. but its one less distraction, that is the one good thing i can think of it at the moment. lol

Who needs a speedo?

Equilibrium - The point where motor noise, wind noise, and road noise all cancel each other out.

Guess what Patrick is fixin' on my 03 SV right now? Right, the speedo . The sensor apparently came out crumbled. It's a cheap part.
