z1000 aftermarket?

Whats the aftermarket support for em? Because thats more then likely what i'm going to be getting this summer.

i doubt a whole lot...they are cool bikes though. I am sure there are exhausts for them and k&N filters. afaik they are the old zx9 engine...

as far as I knew they were detuned 10r motors, like the fz1 was a detuned r1

there is really no aftermarket for the bandit and i am keepin busy with it. get a z1k they are nice.

could have sworn i was told by the senior tech at the kawi dealer i worked at that it was just a fuel injected oversized zx9 engine i could have remembered wrong though.

the zx10r engine is 998 cc, the z1000 is 953cc.

i mean like stretched swingarm and . there is not many after market cans, if you pick up a catalog and look for a fender eliminator kit you will have a tough time, if strickly motor alot of the 1100 stuff swaps over to the b12 motor. but again not really any rearsets for it or stuff. most of that you can get but it comes from europe.

zx9 with bigger bore
I had a zxr1100 which is similar naked bike
It was a blast around town but miserable on open road, no wind protection

Oh yea...wind protection...i do mostly highway too. To busy looking at the pipes to notice the windshield ...back to the drawing board lol
