Information on Wrecked Bandit??

Greetings all!
I was refrerred to this forum by someone at Two Wheeled Texans.
I'm looking for information on a wrecked red 2007 Bandit I purchased on fleabay in Februrary of 2008.
I'm asking here because it was a Texas bike, I think Houston area, and I'm hoping someone knows what happened...
I believe it was wrecked in October or November 2007. Someone bought her brand new and with only 116 miles on her, she was wheelied over backwards and severly damaged. The only piece of bodywork that wasn't hurt was the front fender. The rear subframe was bent way up and to the right, the rear bodywork and lights were destroyed, the bike went so far over backward the rear grab bar scraped the ground. If you look at the pic of the rear of the bike, you can see the scrapes on the grab-bar.
The bike slid down the street, damaging the fuel tank, handlebars, turn signal switch, fairing, stator cover and mirror. It then flipped over and slid into a curb, damaging the clutch cover and muffler.
It was subsequently sent to Sams Motorcycle Sales in Houston, where it was offered on ebay. I was high bidder at $2905.00, plus 300 to ship it to Seattle.
I moved to Montana in May of this year, and on May 14th I started working on the Bandit. I stripped the rear of the bike down to the frame, and at first tried bending the subframe as a unit, but torches and comealongs and straps and my entire collection of swear words couldn't get it to budge, so I broke out Mr. Hacksaw. I cut the subframe in four places, bent each piece individually until the new rear plastic ($200.00) fit, then I welded it back together. You can't even tell now that the rear was ever damaged.
I replaced the stator cover (75), handlebars and grips (25), and fuel tank (new on ebay 300).
Just last week I replaced the fairing (175), another ebay find. All that's left to replace is the exhaust can, and I just bought one from a member of TWT and it will be on my bike shortly...
I got her on the road May 24, and promptly headed to Seattle to visit friends, a 1100 mile weekend. Between May 24 and October, when I put her away for the winter, I put on nearly 7000 trouble free miles.
We've been to Yellowstone, Little Bighorn, Medicine Wheel, Grand Teton, Wyoming, Washington, Idaho, and all over Montana.
I LOVE this bike, and so far I'm into her for around $4000.00.
I'm hoping someone here knows about this accident. I would like to know more of her history.

Thank you.
No, it's a 1986 Yamaha Radian. Gave it to my daughter last summer for her 17th birthday, after she took the MSF beginner program, of course. I put 18000 miles on it in 2 years in Washington State before she got it, and now she's really looking forward to this spring (if the snow ever melts!) and getting some miles under her .

oops, that's what I meant! I just got the names mixed up. My friend in college had that bike.

My 650 Nighthawk kicked his *ss!

No seriously, it's great bike!

Sam's son is a member of this board. Maybe he'll know more? But probably they just bought it at auction and resold it to you.
