I've had a couple Aprilias. They're fun as but not very practical for my daily use. Tall as , heavy as .

the fz1 and teh z1k are awesome bikes. i prefer the looks of the kawasaki personally, but have never ridden either. but from what i understand, both are very comfortable, and do not lack in power. another option would be the b-king. sport touring comfort with hayabusa power.

I would say go with Honda but my opinion is biased cause I'm Honda till I die, plus after the all night ordeal getting dt's rsv back together it makes me love Honda and the big 4 even more.

i don't know if you're considering new or not, but both the b-king and z1k have been dropped for the 2009 my. judging by both's horrible sales though, you can probably score a killer deal on an 08 leftover.

If you're looking for nakeds, why not a tuono. I don't think insurance on an aprilia is any more than any other 1k. My aprilia was dead-nuts reliable, but didn't have the top end to keep up with modern I4 litrebikes.

I like the z1000, but I would want some wind protection. If I were to buy a naked bike, it would be a superduke.

I like my 954. Cheap parts, handles well, and it's pretty quick. Comforable riding position. The only thing that hurts on distance rides is my right cheek It did the same on the ZX10, though. I think I just have a defective .
