Thanks to Motorcycles Unlimited for hooking up the suspension and helping put this thing together.

u put a 450R cam in it yet ? if not. i recommend it. snappier throttle response & more bottom end. the X cam is sluggish, the grind on it is designed for cross-country riding, not supermoto. u will get pulled on out of every corner by the guys will R's...

drool. I want a motard. KTM 690 smc... If I was just riding backroads, then the 450-500 would be perfect, but I've got a lot of highways around me that have to take me to where I want to ride.

If I was in TN, i'd be all over a motard, but if its my only ride... then Street Triple ranks up there, a little easier to cruise on the highway with that.

I think motards are the most fun you can have on two wheels... excepting the highway and traffic. Too much aggression I fear I would let out (yoda voice)

Was planning on doing the R cam along with stainless valves when ever I rebuild the top end. Thanks for the advice though.
