Only One 250?

i know honda and suzuki has made 250s before...the cbr 250 looks pretty badass and i personally think it had kawi beat in design atleast (the previous gen kawi 250s atleast)

but why has kawi been the only ones to continue in the 250cc?

that cbr 250 is sweet. don't they make (and race) cbr 125's in europe? they got way more lower displacement bikes since they are on the tiered licensing system. hmm maybe we should have that here...

there probably isnt enough of a market for 250's in america, let alone 3 companies trying to compete at a little piece of a little pie

the reason we don't import more 250's is b/c of all the fuggin squids that go out and buy litre bikes to eat on. . .I'm all in favor of tiered licensing

i agree about the hondas, they were some sweet lookin rides, and im sure they would have outsold the kawis on looks alone and kawasaki wouldnt have waited two decades to update the bike. kawasaki had as sweet looking old school 250 as well that looked like an SS, but i cant find a pic of it, and i have no idea if they were ever even imported here.

I agree that everybody should start on a smaller bike, but a 250 is not for everybody. I think the gov't intervenes in our lives quite enough as it is.

I like the CBR 250! Nice looking bike!

im all for less govt, but in certain cases sometimes its a necessary evil. i think this is one of those cases. im all for tiered licensing.

I wonder if those with broken necks, permanent handicaps, disfigurement, or those who have passed away would argue with a couple thousand miles on a 250-400cc bike???
