Monday morning update

I just spoke with Tim's Dad. He is in surgery now. It looks like they will be fusing from C4 to T1. Swelling has been minimal and he continues to have full movement of his extremeties.

Best case scenario at this time is that he could possibly be out of the hospital by the end of the week and will be in a neck brace for 3 to 4 month. Modern medicine is amazing.

Next update will be late this afternoon. I hope to continue passing along good news.

c4-t1. Man, that sucks. He will lose a large amount of range of motion. I guess it's a small price to pay though. At least he will be walking and breathing!

Monday 4:10 PM update

Tim is still in surgery. Taking a long time. A message was sent out to the waiting room that all was going well. He will be in post op icu around 5:30.

It has been suggested that visitors will be very welcome but please wait until Tuesday afternoon or evening. That will give Tim some time to recover and time with his immediate family. He still has not been assigned a room.

I will continue with updates as his Dad relays the information to me.

Cool Deal Man.

what about a few bucks and a get well card for him. I personally have never met him but i would throw in a buck or 2 and get a card for him.
