Bad news regarding the bike is that it isn't fully covered by insurance. Its kinda bad. I'm thinking the forks are bent, the front rim is TRASHED for sure and the tail section needs replacing. As far as I know it hit a culvert and did a front flip basically. Bandito knows best, he saw it.

Sounds hopeful at least. BTW, I sent ya a text.

i assume you mean its the C6 and C7? T means thorax and thats the torso area of the spine. anything above that tho and it would have been very bad. he wouldnt have been able to breathe on his own. very, very lucky. good news that they expect a full recovery!

C6 is fractured and C7 is pushed slightly out of place. The neurologist should be there around 1:00 AM. Tim's Dad will be there to meet with him. The attending has determined that surgery will be necessary to put in a plate that will pull C6 back together and take pressure of the spinal column. I assume they will use it to relocate C7 also.

The scan shows no other damage to either the head or his internals. Tim is in good spirits for someone who is going thru this. Must be the morphine. He should be assigned a room in the morning. He is at Memorial Hermann.

I will update as I can.
