I have the slip. He ran 9.837 at 137.32. Getting of the line and a 60' was quicker than ine is the key. My 60' is 2.2. !

Cool pics Joe..... Too bad you didn't click any of me in the "race car"....LOL

I love that orange on the 08 busas.... Don't worry Rob....we'll widdle that time down. Lets get the bike low and you'll go 10.50s next time out...no problem. I want you to go 9.90s with the stock pipes.

9.90,s should be in easy reach, even tho Ur a big guy, that bike has tons of power and when broken in it might get a tad more, like Alan said put some lowering links in the rear and even tho I,m not a fan of straping it does work for the 1/4, it will fly, If U wanna make it really fast...

Put ME on it,

Have straps. Lowering tree, links,K&n, and Pc3 on the way. As soon as I sell the GSXR I will order the Brocks and the air shifter.

Well Damit, jump right on in , I have an 08 in the shop right now doing similar work to, dont wanna make it too low where riding it on the street sux, I,ve lowered mine about 1 inch ft and rear and it launches alot better and then taken a track day at TWS (Texas World Speedway) the very next day, not too bad, and they say busas wont turn, thats BS, of course they arent 600 but they do just fine, have been riding them since they came out in 99

why are u putting an air shifter on just go with a quick shifter until you learn how to ride the bike at the track. Farlie with the red and black zx14 that was short run 9.0s foot shifting 2in clearance and pretty much stock. Learn what u have then move up or else it will just build up to something that u cant handle because you didnt get used to what u had.

Agreed, on the shifter, I have been running one for 10 years without an air shifter

Yeah Farley is a freak of a rider also..... most of us average riders(especially us long legged fukkers) will do MUCH better with an air shifter. It allows you to launch MUCH harder knowing you don't have to worry about getting your feet on the pegs...... I used to 60' 1.80s launching off one foot so I could nail the 1-2 on a wheelie.... went to air shift and went 1.55s, stock wheelbase, stock tire, 3"+ ground clearance.

www.cycle-tek.com only way to go.
