3090 has some ruff spots and sometimes a little gravel
but you ride it for what it gives you(adrenaline and excitment) when you repect it and don't exceed your ability

Spring R1 is a veteran rider, and went down not because of the rode, but doing what we all do get as close to our own personal edge as possible then well he gassed it and it slid out

I hear you about knocking the fillings out of your teeth. Bounce on my bike sometime. Might as well be running struts it's so darned stiff of the street. On 3090, I have to keep the weight on my pegs, not on the seat, if I'm running at any kind of spirited pace.

However, I've never slid a tire on the tar snakes.

more than likely because I am AWAKE right now, getting ready to go ride, and I am sure you will be dragging your hung over outta bed, at, say...noon.

Ill be on the way home by them.

Plus, you have been, uh shall we say, preoccupied lately.

Novel concept for a 'group' ride... ride at the level of the lowest denominator.

You ride to your capabilities, but you never just run off a leave the newbie. In time he'll get to the point of keepiing pace. Regardless of who thinks what we all have been there.
