ya, they are always there between Gessner and Wilcrest...usually two or three in the around 8am. A couple have some really stealthy spots.

This is just a money-grab spot - easy pickins - just a dragnet since it opens wide. Sad really - it's free and clear - safe for higher speeds.
-
but it's been well over a couple weeks - since they opened - several months - they just open the net - I've seen 4-5 at a time.
-
it's called quota-filling out there.

My opinion is that since everyone -myself included- has been so GD frustrated from the 3 years of I-10 construction traffic, that now it is nice and wide open everyone speeds from Grand Pkwy to Kirkwood/Gessner. I say the cops are out there to show their pressence, hand out tickets like a and calm everyone the fk down.

I personally like the new speedy transit, but those jackasses that fly by and around me (when I'm already doing 70mph) put me and my 2yr old son in danger. I'd personally like to give them a foot in the or a knuckle to the face to go with that ticket.

Guess I should rephrase that... I do 70mph on I-10 BECAUSE of the recent cop activity AND when I have my son. 80mph is about right and as long as you driving with the flow of 80mph'ers that's cool.
But if some cockwad is cutting in and out of traffic and causes a wreck, that's bullshit on any level.

On my bike... well, let's just say it doesn't see 80 very often.
