Good move, he has nothing else to prove in college football. Although he did not win the heisman, he is now at his highest earning potential. Marcus Vick on the other hand... :nono:

good move. jump into the NFL while his name is hot and the Rose Bowl game is still fresh in everybodys mind. It will be interesting to see if he is as succesful in the pro's without the great offensive line he had at UT.

marcus vick. he is such a pusy . all his mind set is is that i have my brother blah blah blah. what he did was a sorry move.

on the other hand VY is a great athlete, but if he comes to the texans, i think that will be a mistake. all i care about is if the cowboys get T.O. that would be bad .

I have to say I'm disappointed in him for forgoing his college education for money. He had such a good chance at the Heisman, too.

...unless he suffers a career-ending injury during camp. Then what? It happens. BTW - it ain't ALL about the money.

I think he should have stayed another year. I think the heisman would have been his for the taking and he would be even more marketable for endorsements. I do understand why he would leave college though. I also think he would make an unstoppable Wide out in the NFL.

but why do we get a degree... to work to make money... he's jumping in head first into money..i think he's making a smart move...

besides.. i dont want to "live to work" I would rather "work to live"

and if he stayed another year.. we couldnt get him.. he'll be in his home town.. i think that very important to him as well...

It's no secret why he did it. But the question remains... what happens if he suffers a career-ending injury in the first week of camp?

Also, I'm of the opinion he should have stayed to go after the Heisman again.

Aw well, no matter, he will be a great pro QB. Texas has many other young prospects up-and-coming.

alot of athletes dont stay to get there degree becasue they know once they have it they wont know what to do with it. just look at what most athletes have as a mojor (criminology, arts, nutrition)
