The 19x18 IS the preferred master cylinder, particularly for the racer guys. There should be no buyers remorse. I understand that the 19x20 (the big side of the RCS) isn't used due to lesser brake feel.

Yes, you can buy them separately. But they are cheaper in pairs. Work something out with a buddy.

I didnt see any reason to have a micro switch for a track bike with no brake lights. Now the switching back and forth between 18 and 20 might have been cool, i was just being a tight and saving a few pennies

i dont know about changing everything at once unless you've already had that setup before.all i did to mine was ss lines and pads with some 5.1 brake fluid and it was good.FWIW i just started braking hard/late this last season.maybe as i progress ill need the brembo slave/master
hey Curt,my GSXR had the same issue,1/4" play, after swapping masters, fluid, pads and removing the shims i realized the line between resevoir was trapping air and lettin it in once the fluid heated.i caught it when i swapped the line for a clear one.....

You guys should try the EBC Extreem Pro pads. The LSTD bike was all stock except for the EBCs and it felt great. Good enough for a 1st in class and 2nd overall. Go see Patrick and he can get you taken care of.
