Dude super easy I restore old honda atcs this is how I do it I buy a decent acid solution from my hardware store all of should have something I put about two inches worth in it two covering the bottom of the tank and put some small chain in it and put the cap on it and shake the out of it for about 5 to 10 minutes then rinse with water for about 15 minutes to nutralize the acid so stick a water hose in the tank and let it run repeat as needed

i oredered a tank off ebay and it looked like some discoloration was built up inside from not having gas in it for a while. i just put it on and ran through the first few tanks of gas pretty quick and now the tank is super clean inside.

I've got a source in the Cypress area who does great work. They do work for most of the shops in Houston too.

You can DIY with a product called "Kreem" (I think that's how the spell it). I've had friends with success with it.

Id recommend removing a pump if you dont want it damaged.

But as mentioned above, the chain and solution does work.
