yeah seat belts were in play. thank for the technology in luxury vehicles. auto tensioning belts FTW. figured id get a truck now. so i can just put my bike in there.

40-50. was i the wet grass when i hit the brakes. so they were of no good to me. just held on and waited for the boom. damage was only to the front right. ripped off the fender. bent the a pillar and pushed the b pillar back 10-15mm. other side was good. doors on opposite side opened fine. was some buckling in the right quarter panel. total loss. damaged entered passenger compartment floor pan

glad your ok. I guess with a truck u would'nt even bother to swerve for any dogs since you could run em down without even knowing it.

I saw an add for Suzuki's truck, the Equator. Supose to come with some kind of tie down rails specifically for bikes and with a 100k warranty.

thats really the extent of the damages to me. hand slipped off the steering wheel and straight into the windshield. hit the tree and spun the car 90 degrees to the left
