Thieves should die, or at the very least get branded right across the forehead - with a big "L"

That really sucks, but what did you expect from an apartment? When I lived in mine I drove it into my storage unit or inside my apartment complex every night. it's not worth the risk.

Im sorry for your loss but atleast you'll never make that mistake again.

it took about 3 weeks to get my wreck check so I would assume atleast that long. Now you can upgrade to the new 600RR tho!

This is true, i'll just have to see what they give me.. i'm assuming it's based off of kelly blue book though It's just frustrating to have to deal with all this now.. ya know?

But i will def. be looking into the new cbr600rr's now

EVERYBODY who lives in an apt and rides a bike!!!! Let my story be an influence to you to get some kind of lock, alarm, lo-jack or any kind of theft-deterrent device!!

The feeling of walking outside and not seeing your bike where you left it the night before is about the worst feeling ever... Even though i will have a garage to put my next bike in, i'm still going to invest in a few locks and maybe an alarm.. They even make alarm-disc lock and other locks ( which i was about to buy)..

I wish i had invest sooner but now it's too late and i have to deal with all the that comes with a stolen bike.

Your bike is a huge investment and it's worth it to have a small investment in something to protect your bike.. I'm learning that the hard way today.

Until i get another bike, i can still tear up on the fiddy!! so i won't completely be going through withdrawels.. But yall ride safe and think about your bike's security for a minute.. If you have to question it, do something about it now!

i'll keep yall updated,

Thanks for the support!

kyle

well the bike is an '03 not brand new and i got it at about what the kelly blue book cost was.. but after adding the TTL and all that other little i'm financing more than what i bike is worth.. But i'm pretty sure that i do have gap insurance as well so i should be covered 100%. But i've never had to deal with a stolen vehicle before so i'm assuming the worst basically.

i know sometimes insurance companies can be pretty gay at times.. That's why i say that.. But who knows

Sorry to hear about your bike!!! You can live in BFE or a city as big as houston and people are steeling bikes left and right. Its just an easy target. All these need are a few guys, beater van and a couple of minutes, and then your favorite toy is gone!!!!

Fkn thieves. Sucks to hear man.

Get some locks for your bike next time.
The locks won't stop thieves from taking it, but it will take them longer to take everything off.

I didnt read above, but it will take 30 days at least. They will wait to see if its recovered first. Its not gone till they say it gone. SF usually makes you wait 30 days. It does make sense though if you think about it. I got a Geo metro rental when mine was stolen. That hurt my feelings a little.
