Places to ride??

Ok well my gf and i just got a couple of dirt bikes.

she got a 2008 ttr-125 le and myself just got a ttr-230. nothing special but looking for places to go ride around the humble atascocita area. or places within a decent amount of travel time? We don't have ALL the gear yet, but we have the priorities. helmets gloves and yada yada. but i have no clue on where to ride. any info would be greatly appreciated! thanks

the trails can be challenging for a beginner also. i would suggest an empty dirt field, or a kid oriented motocross track to learn on. that's what a majority of me and the guys i ride with did.

motocross track sounds intimidating, and looks intimidating when you first ride on em, but after a few jumps, and sliding the rear end in a few turns.....it all becomes a part of the ride.

if you can make it out tomorrow to Ultimate MX, i'll teach you what i know about the dirt, granted it's not that much....but i'm gettin the hang of it.

Ultimate MX/Ultimate Paintball
1911 Bunyard Rd
Alvin, TX‎
(281) 316-2000‎

take 288 south, exit hwy 6, make a left onto hwy 6. go down about 15 min til you see hwy 35 (not to be confused with "business route 35", it's the next light i believe) and make a left onto hwy 35. you'll see a buckee's gas station and a valero gas station at the next light, make a right (street is 517). go down til you see concrete barriers on both sides of the rode, and get ready to make a right on the first street between the barriers. you'll see a red sign that says Ultimate MX. go down about 2 or 3 miles, and look to your left, you'll see Ultimate MX/Ultimate Paintball. the track is behind the registration building, so don't expect to see any bikes riding around when you are looking for it.

sorry for the long directions, but that's the easiest way to get there for ya. we should be there all day tomorrow until the sun comes down.
