I was riding with a couple of guys from work one time. Long story short we did something we were not suppose to and got pulled over by DPS. All my stuff was in order and he gave me a warning. The other two guys were not so lucky. One did'nt have an "M" and his inspection was out. And the other one just had his inspection out. They ended up pro rating the inspection based on how long it had been out. One of them was out for nearly two years and he ended up paying over $100 for the violation. I believe that if your inspection sticker has just expired and you are within the 10 day grace period you can get off with a $10 fine. Beyond that I would be wary. You can still go have it inspected without penalty anytime. It's just if you get caught.

I've never had a cop check it, and I got a ticket two weeks ago - never even went to the left side swing arm and looked at it.

The place I take the bike to don't check anything, I took it about 6 weeks ago, they made me drive it into the garage and turn it off, they never turned it on after that, so I know they couldn't have checked lights, blinkers or anything else really.

5 minutes, I had a sticker.

inspection sticker just has to be 'close' to the rear of the vehicle. I checked on this before i had mine reinspected, i put it on the right side swingarm, it is legal in the great state of texas

corona rider, move that helmet out o the way!!!
