i hear ya...tires gonna be hurtin me this year also. especially since i'm racing 2 different bikes. that puts my race weekend at LEAST $700 in tires, not including race entry fees, practice fees, fuel to get there, fuel to race, and anything else that's needed PER race weekend.

Greg, you'll be better off with your motard on tires, like the SVs. Tires are even more expensive when you go to the 180+ rears and chew 'em up with a 600+ i4 bike at a good pace.

Are you getting supermoto tires (the slicks with sipes cut up the middle) or are you going with DOT style tires? Or slicks?

Not funny. It's really because he's not black enough, or maybe has too much white in him, or maybe just cause of his middle name.

And didn't we all agree to just shoot all the tards to put them out of their misery?

I'm with you, but some of the motard racers still use 'em even without dirt.

You can get the 120/ 160 from Hutch cheap, and they last forever (GP 250 slicks). We won the 8 hour in our class a couple years ago on one set of them, and did a full track day the next month on them after!
