I get that way. I was that way Sunday and it got worse when we were at Yankees so I just cruised by myself for a good amount of time and ended up hanging back another individual w engine troubles.

If I go out at night during the week, I take the bikes. Even in the rain/drinking etc. Most people that dont ride will ever understand but for me, its natural, it works. Is it irresponsible? Likely yes, but when its that big apart of your life it comes natural. So even when I dont want to ride I still do; not far, but enough to reassure myself Im on it for reasons.

why don't you find a nice abandoned parkinglot, or some kind of track and learn a few tricks? Thatll keep ya interested.

As far as stunting her that's a big negatory, she's my baby and wheelies and stoppies are the extent of her stunting career. I think I'm gonna try and just set down the keys and wait it out till I can't stand not riding.

ditch the clip ons and go with the superbike bars if they will fit in your fairings, they will sit you up and back and you will be alot more comfortable, especially on the longer rides.

ok want the good news or bad news first????

ok bad news then, you are infact going to die, as a matter of fact your dying as you read this so yes you are going to die!

The good news is probably not today, and it most likely won't be on your bike(depending on how you ride) so just blow it off and ride if they have a problem with you riding then Fukkem it is after all your life and death they ain't gonna go with ya no matter what, so do as you please but remember to be responsible in what you do so that you don't hasten the time, enjoy, relax and when you get to the gate and St. peter asks you how it was your able to say WOOHOOO What a Rush!

I know exactly what you're talkiing about. Have you tried getting the fix some other way? Local rugby clubs would love to have you out for practice and scrimage. Get a couple of good hits, feel sore for a few days. It's just a nice reminder that you're mortal but you're not a delicate flower.

At least that's the idea, I am a delicate flower so it doesn't always work for me.

Also bear in mind it's an age thing, I went through it at about 32, lasted a year or so. This is good news, means we're only about a dozen years from our mid-life porsche and mistress phase!

I kind of lost my luster for my bike a few years ago. everyone kept telling me I was going to die and or get ran over on my bike. but 2 years ago I was out doing our usual Sunday Hill country ride and got in over my head and cartwheeled my bike at over 100 mph. I got airlifted to the hospital with many broken bones and alot of metal work to my body. double vision for about 5 weeks from a stage 3 cuncussion. After I got out of the hospital all my friends and family tried using the normal line of " I TOLD YOU SO" And I kindly replied "SHUT UP MOTHERF****Ride Smart" I didn't die and I didn't get ran over by a car. I made a mistake and now I'm paying for it. I since have crashed two more times since that first wreck. and before they could even say any kind of smart remark I told them "SEE MOTHERF****R" i'M STILL ALIVE. I have since stop riding on the street and only do track days, But since doing just the trackdays I get really excited to get back on the bike. sometimes just taking a break from it makes all the difference in the world.

I think everyone goes through this time to time (or at least once in their riding career). Whether brought on by family, friends, accidents, or tragedy. I felt like that at one point last year. I even had friends telling me you're gonna die; needless to say I don't hang out much with that criwd anymore. Honestly if it my time, it's just that.

I started hanging out back and riding sweeper. Then it got worse because I saw stuff and started thinking about the things that go on behind me when I do not ride at the back. Right now I still like to take the sweeper position. But I have made it fun for myself. Since I am getting used to the new bike I prefer this spot right now.
