I feel the same way sometimes.
Riding with others does make it alot more enjoyable.
I just feel invisible by myself and never know when someones just gonna pull out right in front of me.

Its ok don't worry didn't say I was gonna do it. It was just a thought, and I wanted to do it straight up Eviel Knievel style! If I was gonna do it, I mean never wrecked in 15 years beside once on a quad I need to get it out of my system and maybe I won't be afraid.

you are exhibiting clinical signs of "Depression." Must be something going on in your personal life that is somehow being attached to the bike. The bike works. You might think it is just a joke, but the mind is a crazy thing to explain.

Ways to cope with suicidal thoughts and feelings
Remember that while it may feel as if the depression will never end, depression is never a permanent condition. You WILL feel better again. In the meantime, here are some things you can do to cope with your suicidal thoughts and feelings:

Talk with someone every day, preferably face to face. Though you feel like withdrawing, ask trusted friends and acquaintances to spend time with you.
Spend time with people who aren't depressed. This can lift you up and make you feel better.
If you are thinking of taking an overdose, give your medicines to someone who can give them to you one day at a time.
Remove any dangerous objects or weapons from your home.
Avoid alcohol and other drugs. They will only make you feel worse.
Wait until you are feeling better before doing things you find difficult or unpleasant.
Make a written schedule for yourself every day and stick to it, no matter what.
Don't skip meals, and get at least eight hours of sleep each night.
Get out in the sun or into nature for at least 30-minutes a day.
Make time for things that bring you joy.

I tried.

Sleep with your bike more often, whisper sweet nothings in it's ear...errr rather it's...where would you whisper...?

Aw screw it, just ride on the hood of a car for the next few days. You'll shake the feeling.

Agree! Either take a break, or ride more in groups that you know and trust.

As for people telling you you're going to die...be sure to tell them not to get in the car, cross the street or even drink or eat ANYTHING! We're all gonna go someday, no telling how it's gonna happen

I think most of us go through periods where we lose some enthusiasm for things we love. It is certainly true with relationships. It doesn't mean that the feeling won't come back.
Riding with friends or on group rides is a great idea and soon you will regain the ol' fire and enjoy riding alone too.
As far as the part about people saying you are gonna kill yourself, they are mice who don't know how to put fear of living aside and just enjoy themselves.
Don't let fear be the reason you stop riding. One of the magazine writers several years ago said, "Fear should be on the back seat of your bike every time you ride, but when it climbs on your shoulders and puts its hands over your eyes, then you need to stop for a while".

I get bored riding alone too. So I wheelie. And evade. Makes it more exciting.

I mean, I used to.

parasuicide

Definition: a faked or half-hearted suicide attempt, a suicide attempt in which the person wants attention but not death; a person who attempts or may attempt a fake suicide
Etymology: para- 'faulty' + suicide

No need to do a fake crash; go for the 120mph into the concrete divider on a bridge in moderate traffic in heavy rain

I think your putting to much thought into this, I'm looking at like this, say the first time you go for a shot at the doctors office or the dentist when your a kid, and your deathly afraid of what's gonna happen cause its the unknown. Then shter you go in they do what they gotta do and you cry and then your like wells that wasn't bad at all and next time you go to a doctors office your much more laid back about the ordeal.

I know what you r talkin about. In a way, afterwards, I was glad that I crashed at MSRH. Was a relief to get the first one out of the way. Expensive, but a relief nonetheless.

Yeah, I just feel that if it happens I will not be in fear of crashing all the time.it will already be out of my system after the first accident. Its not like I literally want to go out and smash into something.

I've taken a few spills on dirt but I was hurt by the bike, took a handle bar to the chest not wearing a chest protector very dumb, and made a jump way out of my league at the time and smashed my helmet and chin on the bars, also rode the raptor on the track a few times got leg caught between tire and nerf bar, the back of my leg looked like hamburger meat.
