I guess from wind hitting my helmet and running at speed without having to break for any lights, etc. Is that why most people change out stock windscreen?

It's 39 miles around the 610 loop. So at 13 minutes, that would be averaging 180 mph. That's not possible. I'd think 19.5 to 20 minutes would probably be the upper limit. At 19:30, that is averaging 120 mph. That's a long way at 120 mph, with interesting traffic challenges throughout, not to mention the po-po issues.

At 15 minutes, that's averaging 156 mph. Not sure that can be done, not even by you SlowBlack. 16 minutes is still averaging 146 mph.

What is the joke about? I was just talking about the modification of the stock windscreen to one with a different height/bubble so that the wind goes over your head . At a higher speed, wouldn't you have a stronger windstream hitting you in the face?? I said earlier that I rode the beltway or backway (2 laners) and would either have to stop at lights or slow down for traffic or DPS, so never rode 45 mins straight at +80mph. Not everyone rides a bike where you lay on the tank. Most of the time my route takes me through areas that you have to deal with Sugarland PD, MO City PD, Fresno PD, Ft Bend Sheriff, Pearland PD, Manvel PD, Alvin PD, Brazoria Sheriff, Friendswood and DPS all the way. They are stretch that you can run, but you have to come off the throttle most of the time.

i did the 610 loop in about 2 1/2 hours with heavy traffic at an average of 30 mph with the stock windscreen.

i dont exactly remember, it saved on the lap timer on my zx10r lol.

i was doing topped out in the straights THE WHOLE WAY and no less than 140-all the way up to topped out in the curves.

it was about 2-3am so there was minimal traffic

i am a good bit faster now then i was then also, who knows, i dont really care to do that again, but if i had to, im sure it would be in the top 10 quickest times if there is a legit list somewhere

me too

i actually screwed up one time, i was riding my buddies stock gsxr 750 (stock everything INCLUDING the mud flap so the plate was MORE than visible)

well, as i would have done on my own bike, i put it up going through the toll booth.

2 months later he gets a toll ticket in the mail, with me doing a wheelie through the toll, they got a pic of the license plate on a wheelie, it showed me doing it and everything, its stays on his fridge. that was hilarious, $33 dollar wheelie right there
