Did a 610 Loop maiden ride last night

I realized last night that I haven't ridden my bike on 610 Loop since I normally roam on the southside and SW and usually take SH6. But had to make a run last night to check some traps and decided that I was going to boycott my usual run on the Beltway since they keep jacking up the tolls. The tolls I would have paid is a tank of gas. So from west side I came up 59N to 610 to 45S and it was a nice blast. I was running a steady 90mph and it was a totally different ride. Since I didn't know where the cops hide out, and I had to keep my eyes peeled for that was blowing from lane to lane. The biggest difference to me was those joints in the concrete that ran parallel to the lane marking. Some of them were pretty wide and you could feel them in your steering, as I keep changing lane position to avoid them and enjoy the ride. Then of course more yahoos who think you want to race; everyone was taking off as soon as you pulled up on them.
Guess I have to try going out to some events in different areas to check out the other roads around town. My schedule is usually full but will see.

I'm guessing that you don't own an EZ-tag, huh.
The Harris County Toll Road system covers approximately 103 miles of roadway in the Houston / Harris County area. the Sam Houston Tollway, the Hardy Toll Road. Westpark Tollway, Fort Bend Tollroad, Jesse H. Jones Memorial Bridge (Toll). Now you can pay on the new lanes of IH-10, if you don't want to hit traffic in the morning.

Ok, well just keep riding them and smile for the camera. HCTRA are only waiting until you rack up enough toll charges until they can charge you with a felony and then you can do a few years in jail.
