since everyone is posting up pics, and for those that dont know the reason my bike isnt up and running right now is i got in a wreck last april and got banged up pretty good

wreck1

so i stripped her back down

stripped 1

and about replaced everything

rebuilddeleted

just working out all the final details

bob

the body was just a test but this is close to where i want to end up. ive primered the tank and fender, and put the tail back on and ran the wires, all i need to do now is mount up the exhaust and radiator, and mount my bars and headlight. my light should be here some time this week so as soon as all my parts get in, ill be back on the road.

I'm gonna wire up my headlight tonight when I get home.
It's an acerbis vision.
Will it be brighter if I wire everything up to the brights?

i had to do that with mine. i've got the aztec 8 dual 5 3/4" lights and on low they don't work for t, especially if the ground is wet. just have to run them on brights and aim them a little lower to not blind people

the ufo sucks for light output and it aint dot. be carefull with that dot stuff. thanks for the comments i think it has come a long way. and kamakaze. the bandit subframe is welded on. and if i swapped tails i would do the whole subframe so thats why i have held back on the tail swap.

kacivic, i think he already has one so its yours, ill bring it when we meet up. gunslinger, we are not a bunch of hooligans on the street nor are we gonna begin to get a reputation as such. when we arent riding and meeting up we can be as crazy as we want to be, but when we are riding we will have respect for the road, for the law, and for other vehicles. the best way to get respect is to show it. we will be planning many outings and get togethers so there will be plenty of time for everyone to act an , but its not necessary on a daily basis.

now bandito, bro, i totally understand, seems like sacrilege to go at a beauty with a chop saw, but if you ever decide to do it, ill help ya. i really dont think its as hard as it seems. i see complete tails go all the time for good prices, we could start collecting the pieces and working out the technical aspects of the job before we ever decide to cut.

Ok, i just heard from goon on the other site and the first date is set, everyone be at pp1 Wednesday January 21st. We will be showing up between 7-7:30. The previous list was just to see if there was any interest but the people have spoken. I will now start a new list for the meet on the 21st to avoid confusion. If you have any problems with this schedule please give me suggestions but i was hoping this would give everyone ample time to make arrangements.

we can keep this one running and maybe get it moved to general discussion. so we dont flood the servers with a bunch of how to threads, we can keep the fighter discussion and mod questions here. everyone that is interested in meeting up with us the 21st, you are more than welcome, you can sign up in thefight club thread. im glad to see we got so much interest here and cant wait to meet all of you.
