i don't dig the paint scheme either. what i do dig are the woodcraft rearsets (i think they're woodcraft) and the stainless brake lines. you're making me wanna undress my ninja

The valves got cooked from a bad exhaust experiment, I salvaged some valves from my parts motors I have but I don't know if I should use them or get new ones.

pw away, there are alot of 650's out there and we dont turn any naked ladies away here. strip that girl down and lets ride. hahaha ive cut probably close to 60-70 lbs of fat off mine. all body and stays, sub, tail, and my r1 front end is way lighter than my dinosaur front clip. hoping to get down under 400lbs.

id have to look at them, they all will have carbon build up, but as long as there isnt too much discoloration due to high temp they might work as a temp fix till you go with a full rebuild. so you were running straight exhaust with no baffels

this might make for a good ride and an eventful weekend.
http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=76378
once it gets closer we can schedule maybe a weekend trip, ride up one morning, hang out for the day, spend the night, and maybe make a scenic rout home, maybe around willis and the lake.

That looks like a good event to do a fighter ride to. I'll have my machinist take a look at the valves and give me his 2 cents, he's been building motors since the early seventies. Eventually this thing is getting higher comp. pistons and yoshimura or moriwaki cams and valves. When I save up the buckage to do so.lol.

i heard that, its always about the $$$. the only thing is if the motards ride out with us we would have to set a moderate pace everyone is comfortable with. also if you need any powder coating, hit up bandito, he is set up to do some small parts. and we do most all the work to our bikes ourselves so we know our way around a shop. my bike is down at the moment but check in tomorrow and he will be around. hit him up with a pm and he might meet up with you at pp1. im about to turn in, gotta work in the mornin.
