I saw them on them too...but no, I'll never own one of those things. If you have 3 wheels, you might as well have 4 and just get a convertable cause it isn't the same as 2.

I have been very fortunate to have been able to spend some time with my "childhood" idols in a few cases regarding motorcycling. Three of which I was able to share the track with! Two of those three I didn't realize then that they would become racers I would come to admire and idolize though... Edwards and Spies. The third is Schwantz, and I've admired him since the great battles in MotoGP years ago. I've also gotten to spend quite a bit of time with Bubba Shobert, who was my #1 for a long time!

If I were to pick on, Lawson comes to mind... but the one that jumps out at a single "have to meet/ hang out with" is Agostini.

It was common for me to ride hundreds of miles every weekend. 500 was the norm on a Sunday...then the 2500 mile 3 day trips and the 1500 2 day trips...I miss those days. Maybe they'll let me ride with them on one of the next adventures on my quad! That would be the coolest adventure yet.
That would be my choice also. We have family in Scotland and go there every other year. The most awesome country that I have ever been to. If I could live there I would.

On the Long way down I recognized some of the roads that they were on. Last time we went we went to John O Groats and saw that (that's where they started the ride). And we went to the same war memorial that they did. I'll bet Ewan and Charlie have ridden a lot of the roads that I would like to motorcycle on. To hang out with those guys and ride with them would be the ultimate in my book.

So many good choices. But I would have to say McQueen or Evil K.

Rossi would be my first choice because he is crazy and I like that but he is also a foreignor and they are hard to understand.

Kind of surprised that nobody mentioned Kato. Wouldn't be my top choice, but still would be cool.

Given the choice between Ago and Kato, that's easy for me- Agostini wins that hands down.

He seems pretty cool.
Michelle Smith seems down to earth too.

Larry Roeseler and Ty Davis would be interesting.

Kenny Roberts (Sr) is a great story teller, and Freddie Spencer has some experiences that I would love to hear 1st hand.

I think Metz would be the most fun, though.

good call.
Peter Egan definetly sounds like he'd be a interesting fella to hang with from reading his articles.
