Which bike do i get?!

Ok i am new to all of this and so far, the bike I have had my heart set on has been the new 09 suzuki sv650. But I recently found and 04 suzuki GSXR750 that I really want. which bike would be a better choice?

sv would be a far more forgiving than a 750 would.
