Frame repair?

I need some help on wher I can get someone to repair my frame. On one side a bolt goes through the fairing to a little peg thats welded onto the frame. About the diameter of a nickel and 1/2 inch tall it got broke off during a wreck I need it back on there...

That should be repairable by an aluminium welder. Or if you have room and its not a load-depending securing point, tap and drill/dye for a larger bolt, set a nut and reuse.

So long as it isn't the crystalized aluminium(or whatever you want to call it) that's made to shatter like after the weld line on the frame in the rear section. Then you would need a frame.

+1 helicoil kit might be in order here. people that can weld aluminum are hard to come by. but im sure someone here might know someone. Atleast its just to hold the fairings and nothing major. good luck!

Lookup Sabs welding off 59 and BW8 Bissonet; they do alum welding and can fix that in a jiffy

You are making things way to complicated . You don't need another frame to rob parts from . Some of the post's above have some good options to consider .

Actually only one does the helicoil kit and I did called two of the welders and the need the little piece to weld on.

If you know the thread size you could drill and tap a piece of round stock aluminum and weld it in the right place
