need to paint the bike

need to paint my fairings.

i got a spray gun & a compressor...just wonderin' if any of y'all might wanna come give me a hand with this...

i'm seriously wanting to paint it red oxide primer & semigloss black...

working around work it might take me all weekend to get it disassembled.

oh, & my paintgun is really shitty...paint comes out lumpy...anyone got a decent gun or mad skills & wanna help me drink some beer?

I done did be a painter. where ya at? that is kinda far, like complete opposite side of the world for me.

and red oxide primer would look nasty with flat black imo. you should try a white primer and a flat black for a panda look keekles.

pics of aforementioned fairings?

I would like to watch this. I could help disassemble and wetsand. Do you have the paint, sandpaper ect? What area are you located? What time you gonna start?

sorry, it's a no-go this weekend.....

i'm building a patio & it's taking much longer than i expected.
probably next weekend.

yea, i have sandpaper/blocks & i'm about to go check out some paint...

the dude that painted the white bike had a company in cali (local for him) put a custom color in a rattlecan.

picking a color is harder than picking the bike...

can I add a poll? haha
the color doesbn't really matter as long as it's not green anymore.

yea ummmmm dunno bout that.

lemme know when and where I'll try to bring the sata minis out. yea for no overspray. materials is all you though buddy, but I'll lay down some nice paint.

don't forget, if you wont be able to lay the fairings down and spray them, get a few wire hangers.

where are you located, shoot me a pm. my bike should be done in a few weeks, waiting for my bars and lights to come in. as far as the gun goes, you need to run some thinner through it then pull the tip and throw it in the can and let it soak. i might not work tomorrow depending on the weather so i might be able come give ya a hand

i have guns some guns... if u decide to UNgo the spraybomb route.... i paint cars for a living. you will just have to tell me what kind of paint it is so i know what size the fluid tip of the gun has to be.

i think all we are shootin is primer so rattle can works. i might need to spray a little high build though since i reworked my tank.

to get better spray since it is cold out warm the paint set in warm water not hot.. can also be done with a rattle can to get a more even flow.

IE; set can of pain in warm water not put the pain in the water itself..
