I met a guy at barber that removed the baffles and repacked the cans effectively making them the same straight through design as aftermarket slip ons.

That sucker sounded bad !

Not sure which parts interchange between the 848 & 1098, but I've got the following stock items if your interested:
-stock slip ons
-stock rear sets.
-rear passenger pegs
-stock mirrors(slightly scuffed).

yea i got to looking at it the other night, it looks easy. im used to making shorties, and this is basically the same principle i just have to drill the rivits, remove the cat and install that holey pipe with the fiberglass packing around it

the more i do research on this bike the more i get at the crooked piece of ducati dealer in mcallen, so far ive found out they took the footpeg brkts, shifter, brake pedal, steering damper,and swapped out the back wheel for the base model 1098 wheel, so far ive gotten back from them the steering damper. and the rightside peg and brkt
