They will get you buy. Go to a store before you order online to make sure your fit is right.

I have one and I cant really complain. I like a Shoei or Suomy way more though. For the $ it's a good lid.

Here's my $.02

HJC and KBC are uncomfortable and noisy as hail, they move around at high speeds and are, can't remember which one but one of them is just flat out bulky. IMO throw dowm a hundred or so more for a nice comfortable lid that you won't actually mind wearing. You can find an Arai, Shoei and Soumy blank for under $400 at shops around Houston

My head is worth $455

that collect heads....

seriously; now he mentions it, the Santa hat/helmet does allow alot of noise. If does feel heavier then other ones I have too.

I do own a HJC but its a modular so its not comparable to the KBC.

yeah my HJC street helmet is very noisy, that's why I wear ear plugs.
I guess I should mention its a dirt bike helmet I'm looking at so its not something I'd wear all the time

I got the KBC stealth, got it from https://www.motoxoutlet.com/, was a good deal at the time, have had it for two years now, i wear XL in KBC same as L in HJC, I also have an HJC,
KBC is ok, loud, VR2 doesn't vent that good, if i were you i save money and buy a little better helmet kinda like what hooligan said,
other wise good luck,

I was given a TK-7 to start with, and it sucks, but I bought a Shoei X-11....best money ever spent. great ventilation, the inside is removable for throwing in the washing machine, good vision, and kick graphics...10/10 but as long as it is DOT shell approved it is just as safe as the rest.
