I have a weight reduction pile at my house from part to pocket bikes. I think I have all the parts I need from them.

no.
i've got a clutch out of a vtr250, but really need something that will work dry. because it'll be exposed...

but, once i get a clutch built i can start working on mounting a set of bicycle disc brakes...

i've been tinkering with it for a year on/off...

A bunch of those old bikes had belt drive. The "clutch" was letting off the tension on the belt. When you released the clutch the belt got drawn tight by an idler and off you went. Clutch slipping? Add a bigger screen door spring from grandma's house.

I had a book in Elementary school from the Poe Elem library called how to build a minibike. Read it 20 times at least.
