My unsolicited $.02 is that the Pirelli is a good solid sprint tire. Very grippy, very compliant, good feel, but historically hasn't worn well. I personally don't like that in a tire (the poor wear) because I'm an endurance racer, and tire life means laps up on the competition who may have to change tires when you don't.

The best thing about this whole relationship between SCRC and Pirelli with Bridgestone is that John's happy to sell you either, and will help you get the tire you want/ need for the type of riding you do

Congatulations John I'm glad to see you selling a better quality tire. I'm sure your track side support will be great as always to bad I will be on Dunlops this year. I do have alot of leftover perelli merchandise would be glad to sell you (hats,banners)but sorry no more top level riders Seriously good luck this year.
