He is a little hurt mentally but it wont be nuthin to get his bike back to 110% hes gunna get a new front wheel and its all down hill from there! the rim cost a pretty penny though! bout $1700, i took it off and the wheel weighs less than the tire! DAM!!!! If you guys need factory parts genuine OEM I can order stuff directly from Yam, Suz, Hond,Kaw and save about 45% on dealer cost! hit me up!!!!

I think his friend was the one with the C/F wheels they say was up there. Those are too brittle for street use. Prolly got em just for the bling factor though.

Ya they flex a lot. When he went down, carbon fiber was just shredding of the rim. I picked a piece of it up and u can bend it with your hand. Doesnt seem safe 4 a rim.

Not to knock bobby's wheels, because they look sweet! But I just don't know if I would trust them........ :eh: Do you think he could have recovered if they did not break the bead?

naw from the way he described it the bike came over and to the left to fast to try in save it! the wheels kick azz! but only if you dont have a wreck, he didnt buy them for the bling factor cause they dont look way different and most nubees cant even tell! they give him the ability to drag your in the corners. they are actually pretty strong cause they can supprt the weight of an ENDO and not crack or bend. but look at me I sound like I am all on his nutz I am just a fan of real good stuff,

Carbon Fiber rims help you 'drag '?

I thought they simply reduced the amount of unsprung weight and reduced the amount of rotational inertia allowing the bike to accellerate, brake, turn in and change direction quicker... I never knew they could help me 'drag '. I have GOT to get some... :icon_bigg

Well since you gotta be a smart : What I am tryin to say is that he can stop faster than that 600 of yours and turn in faster and accel faster thus in turn DRAG YOUR DOWN DA ROAD! that was the only point I was tryin to make! Not to be rude but thats how u came across to me.

Motorcycle racing is 90% rider and 10% bike... how much of that 10% do the superfancy rims make up? :icon_bigg

BTW... when emoticons are played in comments, it generally adds a light-hearted nature to the comments. If you got ruffled by my comments, well... then that just sucks for me.
