Thanks everyone, I've had a lot of fun (and a little hair pulling} building this one. I'm really pleased with how it came out.

With the exception of the Ohlins forks it's already been done; my old bike, built in '04:

SV10011

SV10010

I built that one using our racebike as the template, the idea was to build a fast, light, well handling 650, capable of embarrassing larger bikes on Sunday morning rides. I sold it last month after I was sure I really liked the 1000.
I've also built a few copies for some of my customers. ( matter of fact I have a naked one I'm going to be starting right after the holidays)

Jamie,
I'll probably hold onto this one for a while. I really liked my 650 but in the end just wanted a little more power. I'm pretty happy overall with SV1000S, and I still have my Bandit 1200 for me to ride 2 up on.

Your breaking rule #1 Patrick.
Don't get high on your own supply.

Now if you really want to impress me, modify those forks again to work on the CBR-RRRR!

Nah, but you've done a of a job with that bike man. You put us all to shame.... :notworthy

as for the damper and safety wiring, no need since i dont plan on racing.

race plastic is still up in the air. street fighter or racer style...hmm.
both gonna be put off until i do the gsxr front end first.
