Yes, the group is going to be split. At a minimum it will be split into groups with little to no experience in the forest/3090 or new to their bikes; those that have been on 3090 a few times; and the experienced riders who might want to kick things up a notch.

Play fair Curt! Being a newbie instructor is not as easy as it looks! -

Just teasing. I have major respect for the instructors for level 1 and level 2! It takes a great deal of discipline and patience to throttle back and focus on helping the new track folks.

OK. Back on track.

This ride will be on Saturday, January 3rd. The route will be starting at the Shell Station at 45 and 242, better known as PP69. From there we'll take the usual route to the Forest, then 3090, and then lunch at Yankees. We'll keep things organized for the ride home as well.

Arriving at 9 am or so with kick stands up at 9:30 am. All your gear, please. Helmets, jackets, gloves, and boots. Knee protection is highly recommended as well and is worth the $25 bucks at Motorcycles Unlimited.

To clarify, this will not be some crazy bonzai run through the forest. We're going to have a large group that will be split up. At a minimum it will be split into three groups. The first for riders with little to no experience in the forest/3090 or those new to their bikes; the second for those that have been on 3090 a few times; and the third for experienced riders who might want to kick things up a notch. We'll figure out who will be leading which group as the ride evolves further. I will be leading either the first or second group.
