Good luck on that bro. I'm heading out to check road conditions. Report back within the next hour or so.

I will post up in this thread.

We rode the Forest, 3090 and on to Yankees yesterday at a spirited pace. Those roads were great. I'm curious about Honea Egypt. Please post your findings back here as well.

Because of where I live, I ride HE a lot to get to 2854 and then on to where ever I'm planning to go. With the traffic on it now, it's not good for much more than getting to somewhere else.

Thank you. Now I won't have to venture that far.

we cruise all the way up till 3090 anyways since of the cops.

HE and other roads give others the opportunity to see how peeps are riding that day and where everyone may need to fall into place on the A and B groups.

If it's planned to be part of the route, it's still worth checking out I guess. Maybe with this large of a group, we'll be able to pretty much take it over and traffic won't be an issue.

Honea-Egypt is fine; there wasn't much traffic because of the holiday so it was a fun trip. There were a few spots of packed dirt/clay from driveways, but no problems.

just fyi, if we take Honea Egypt its a slick road compared to others, last time me and a friend raced through there, we were sliding into the corners on the brakes and loosing traction coming out of the turns...

The key words being "raced".... as long as it's not wet, the A and B groups will be fine. You C guys want to run a different road, CDill will be happy to oblige, I'd imagine.

We'll keep a close eye on the weather forecast. If Saturday turns out to be iffy, there is always Sunday.
