ive used forward air also. you may need to have someone crate it though. they have a hub here at the intercontinetal airport. i think forward can crate it for you but im not sure.

forward air is the best for the price

I looked into this when I got my bike from CA and using forward air was the cheapest method I could find. They are reliable and your bike will be pretty safe in their container. They dont "crate" the bike, you rent a container from them and your bike is shipped in that. Someone from new york will need to load it up, strap it down, and lock it. The only thing I didnt like was having to drive to IAH to pick it up.
