i pick it up going about 45 to 55 mph in second gear and rpm range will be between 6 to 8 grand then i clutch it but doing a sitdown in second gear on a 600 is harder so i like to stand put your left foot on your left rear peg keep the right where it is so u can brake incase of emergency and clutch it she will come right up

i learned to use the rear brake on my 50.. it's very easy to get to the balance point and a very forgiving bike to learn that on..

i will admit though, it's a whole different ball game getting up high enough on the 600rr to have to use the rear brake. ( i havn't done it yet).

unless you have absolutely perfect balance and throttle control, you will have to learn to use the rear brake on a wheelie. Besides it's good to feel comfortable on your bike in any situation anyway.

Be safe man

if you are speeding up in the wheelie then your not at bp. you can be at bp and bot hit the brake but you will be speeding up.
