XMass Birthday...

I know there are a couple of threads regarding X-Mass and an open house, but it’s my fvcking B-Day that day, (no I don’t get two gifts per…since some fvck-a$$ at Halmark came up with the “Happy Birthday / Merry X-Mass card it’s dosent happen more….((I found him, and beat the chit out of him))-) I digress… anyway everything is closed including the bars but the streets are clear….and I wanna ride. So there you go. Might do Challer’s open house at some point…but you see where I am going with this.

Having ur b-day on Xmass…Sucks A$$.

Merry X-mass

my moms birthday is the 27. She has the same complaint as you. Since they were so close her parents would just combine the two. Sucks .

Yeah my wife's is the 29th and my niece's is the 26th.

I suggested that we start celebrating a 1/2 birthday on June 29th but she won't go for it....

oh well.. I tried..

Two of my daughters have December birthdays. One on the 20th and one on the 27th. We usually move their parties to January to make sure their friends are in town for the party. We do a family celebration on the day of or the closest Friday to it if needed. Since we have the Christmas tree out we also typically don't put the Christmas decorations on it and instead put streamers and balloons on it, call it a birthday tree. After the birthday on the 20th we decorate it for Christmas and then after Christmas we pull those decorations down and redo the tree in birthday decorations again.

I feel for you, it's not easy to separate it, we have to be very intentional or our kids get screwed.

right, my mom would have the tree and everything down and gone by the end of christmas day so it didnt feel like christmas anymore for my birthday.
