New product

These are engine covers, frame sliders, rear stand spools, and a chain guard made for the '06/7 GSXR:

CP GSXR600 K6 CS GBR 640

These are CMRA legal, cost about half as much as any other case cover replacement parts, and install in about 10 minutes!

I don't know if Motorcycles Unlimited is a vendor for these, I suspect they are/ will be.

I will have display samples at every CMRA Friday event and every LSTD non-race weekend this year as GBRacing has become our newest supporter/ vendor.

Check out the site at www.gbracing.eu to see their entire product line!

Currently, the only popular race bikes they don't have their product for is Kawasaki, but they're coming!

They do have parts for Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, KTM and Triumph- not all models, but the most popular race models.

Well, this company is relatively new, and they are brand new to the US. I *think* Texas Speed & Performance is the only Texas vendor right now (though I'm sure others will pick this up, it's a very cool product). They're working on the ZX parts now, as well as the 600RR.

I plan on getting my first set of parts for my bike and for display very soon for the R6/1, 1000RR, Triumphs, and GSXRs

Can't wait to see the Kawi products. I'm really surprised that nothing that has been made race legal like this has been manufactured before...

Moto-R did, but they went out of business, www.speedwerks.com bought out their complete inventory.

but i did see those gb racing products online before....and they do look like a step up from moto-r's. i'd like to see them in person to see the quality of them. but from the pics, they look like an awesome product.

I think the difference is that these are approved by racing orgs while the MotoR were not unless you got the replacement.

Cool!

FYI, it looks like we'll have discount coupon give-aways at our non-race weekend LSTD events, as well as (very probably) give-aways.

We are very excited to have them on board as a sponsor, and I can't wait to get my first shipment of products from them!

Further investigation of the product vs the MotoR product is that these completely cover the engine covers rather than just bolting/ gluing on to the bottom. I think the MotoR products look cool, and would be good for track days, I understand why they're not race organization rated.

I'll pm you, but I'm waiting for the answer on the 600RR. Check with Patrick too- he's usually able to get some killer deals for MH folks that others can't get.

Looks good, are these just a guard/cover? aluminum? also how do they attach? glue double sided tape, silicone, or actually bolt on??

They bolt on and are an "additional" case cover. The web site has pics of crashed bikes to show how they hold up too. They're injection molded pieces, not aluminum.

I haven't gotten my first set yet, so I don't know exactly what the story is on fitment, but Derek Wagnon got some for his bike and he said the whole kit took about 10 minutes to install!

Here's what they said about the 600RR:

We are in the final stages of development for the CBR600RR Secondary Engine Covers. Date: Thursday 06 November, 2008

We are all but finished in developing up 3 Secondary Engine Covers for the CBR600RR.

These covers will bolt onto the Clutch & Timing Stock covers on one side and the Alternator cover for the other side of the bike.

We will be producing a Kit Alternator cover as well as the Stock Secondary Cover.

These covers will fit the 07 to 09 Bikes.
