All I know is that my kids get way more than I ever got. And those of you who got to spend time with all your families....good for ya'll! I would rather have that than any material things. Simple pleasures ya know.

I hear you.
Last year Gabrielle got so many toys both from us and the various family members that we took some of them and put them away. We would give her a couple every month or so. When this Christmas came around she still had toys put up that we hadn't given her!
This Christmas was a repeat of last, especially from the Grandparents / Aunts & Uncles.
SuzAnne and I have made a deal, from now on 3 toys and one stocking stuffer. (even at that it's still a little much )

Good idea, though my kids are old enough now to find the stash of toys. After all the electronic gizmo's, Phat Farm shoes, Abercrombie and Fitch clothes, what is the one thing they both have played with the most? A $99 peddle bike from Academy that Santa brought my son. :confused1
