Seems like their was story on the news earlier in the year or last year about a guy that tried that. He crashed and died. Not smart.

thats how my buddy almost lost his life. he kicked his fender for the exact same thing you are talking about. instead of steering away he purposely steered into him knocking him off his bike at 70. dude ended up having a record for a previous incident in which he had done the same thing. just speed up or how bout this. dont ride where they can't see you. try not to even ride next to them. if they have to swerve for some reason your toast. i know its not always possible but ride smart and think ahead

keep old spark plugs or some nuts/bolts in your pocket and let them loose on the windshield when you pass them

Talking in your car....if you are rolling, they cant do much cept hit your car...which car vs car.. no biggie. If you are at a red light and you talk , they pull a gun, you at least have some metal inbetween you and the bullet.

If you are on a bike, its suicide both ways....

guy lane changed on my and hit me... just stay ahead of cars I always speed a little where I am moving through traffic and before I had cars Always not seeing me and almost hitting me after my wreck I no longer have this issue. that car waiting at the intersection might do a right on red your lights green but wont matter if he pulls out and your dead I have avoided last week guy pulled out half way and slammed his breaks when he saw but I drive expecting every car that can make a mistake will. I was already far left in my lane so just swerved around him had I been all the way to the right that would have been much more of one of a maneuver. same for riding beside a car dont do it, cost me a lot of trouble........ You get the point though just drive defensively.

Don't do anything to retaliate. People end up dead b/c of stupid stuff like that. It's not on purpose. Those cagers don't know you are there whether it's b/c you're in a blind spot or they just didn't look. Just get the out of the way and try to keep your escape options open.

A friend of mine punched a small SUV that moved into his lane. They ended up on the left shoulder of NB US59 at Beltway 8 with the SUV driver pointing a gun in my friend's face. People who saw what happened pulled over to help and in the end nothing happened. We were lucky. The SUV driver never saw my friend ,and from my point of view, it's probably b/c my friend was in the SUV's blind spot as he was passing the SUV and that was the exact moment the SUV moved over into my friend's lane.

+1 to what most people on here said, don't do it.

But I'm gonna add to it. If you are seriously having someone pull on top of you daily (or even on a regular basis) you need to get some instruction on riding in traffic. Take an MSF course, find some good books, pay attention to what's going on around you, but do something.

In other words, they can't pull on top of you if you aren't sitting beside them.

Just my .02

+1 to the guys above, don't do it. Take msf or stay ahead of the car beside you. Don't ride in their blind spot. tap your brake periodically to keep tail gater a far/distance.

Do you really need us to tell you this is a bad idea? What's common sense tell you? Don't do it.

I'm a painter, so when I drive the car I'm pretty much just hoping somebody will hit me so I have a good reason to repaint it! That's pretty much the mentality I have, even when I see people start coming over I just wait a while and I might give a honk but I usually wont even swerve.

Now, on the bike, I've found that I have to completely change that way of thinking

If someone really is coming into your lane, and you have the time to kick their car, the time would probably be better spent swerving, braking, checking the lane next to you and switching quickly, speeding up, honking, iono what else. Actually I take that back, I had someone come into my lane the other day with me layin on the horn the whole time, so maybe honking wont work.
