Fog got my vote. Poor visibility, plus no rain to wash the road slime away.

I slid into a gas pump at a station this morning. Killer looking tail slide, until the rear wheel made contact with the curb! Somehow managed not to drop the bike. I kept the helmet on while gassing up so no one would recognize me.

IMO the worst riding condition would be light rain with wind gusts.

Voted night or fog.

Well, I think it's obvious for fog atm. Roads are slick as and visibility can be extremely limited.

Nighttime really doesn't bother me, it's just all the drunks. I usually refuse to ride after 10pm or so, doesn't matter what night of the week it is.

If you've ever been snowmobiling, you know how to dress up for the cold, but it's the road conditions that prevents safe travels. Fog and gusty winds are on my list. A motard 250 sucks ballz in teh wind.

cold is the worst. easily.

in fog i can ride as slow as needed to stay safe. the other conditions can be dealt with by just being extra cautious. etc...but cold...not so much. when your hands, fingers go numb, and your shivering, you cannot use your hands or fingers as well. reactions and movements become more of an on/off thing instead of what they should be. the mind is also stressed and distracted by the cold, its trying to keep your body from getting sick, let alone keeping the cycle operating safely. ADD to this that some motors just dont like the cold...

ya...i had to ride an eliminator 125 40 miles home in a blizzard. **** that!

I think it's the worst when you ride to a place at night with a clear shield, stay there, and have to ride home on a super sunny, hungover morning, squinting with one eye and wondering why the f--- you didn't bring another shield. Fog you can at least keep your eyes open, sun all you want to do is close them.

The worst of the worst is not even a selection on the list of options. Love-bug season is the worst! You get pelted with millions of them and you are covered in bug guts. The visor gets so messy that you need to stop at a gas-station and use the squeegee to clear it.

with the overall cold winter we had plus the few days of sub freezing temps we had, the bugs are not going to be nearly as bad this year. especially mosquitoes.

You should really add wind to the conditions.

I am not talking about reg wind or even those gusts you feel when a big truck passes. I am talking about those super windy days with high gusts.

I would say wind is by far the worst. I went out on a fairly windy day and I was on the highway. I went to change lanes and got hit with a gust and it literally lifted my front wheel and threw me across 2 lanes.

I then exited, deciding to now go home, but was still battling constant wind being pushed all around. My buddy I was with got pushed into oncoming traffic several times.

You cant visually see wind except by looking at the trees, but even then you can be fooled.
