Lost My License

I lost my wallet somewhere so i need to go to DPS and make another license. If im going to remake my license, do i have to retake the vision test again? I left my glasses at san antonio and dont want to go to DPS knowing i need to retake the vision test without my glasses.. because im going to FAIL that.

you can do it online but you'll need info off of the license.. like the DL# and also that long number that runs along the side of your picture(which most ppl don't memorize).

Yup, you'll need your license number and the audit number (lomng one). If you have your paper license from when you renewed, it'll have the audit number on it. Otherwise, you'll need to go in and have it re-done... with your glasses.

if your tall like me, you can peep the back side of the vision tester and read the lines off of there. i know the letters are listed on the back of the one i looked at in Conroe two weeks ago. Might be the same at other locations as well. just a thought

if you really cant pass that test without you're glasses then you really shouldn't be driving until you get your glasses back
