If I get this kickstart fixed between now and then...I'm game. Got the approval from the boss, just a matter of whether or not I can get it all together. Got the parts, waiting on a clutch cover gasket (should be at Motorcycles Unlimited today).

Got the correct gasket today, printed out the portion of my PDF manual (to help assist with the teardown) and will attempt to get after it tonight and tomorrow. I'll call ya Friday evening and let you know if I'll be able to make it out.

what you mean big bike run? Anything with 2 wheels and knobbies...HouseofPain was riding his klx110 while Clark and Ken were riding their 450's....It's all relative...

Saturday morning at the trailhead...I don't remember the exact exit, Sandman may be able to give us an exact FM road or exit # though.

We typically meet there at 9 or 9:30 in the morning.

Keith, I won't know until tomorrow if I can make it. This is my first time tearing into the gear box and I wanna make sure I don't fuxxor something up. My buddy said it's a 30 minute job....I'm venturing to say 2 to 3 from start to finish for my rookie (this includes time for boozin').

I figured I'd just ride the DR out but if you're going I may try to take it home with me tomorrow to Tomball and maybe we can just put both bikes on my trailer Saturday.

Hmmmmm, I am supposed to set up for a race on sunday, but I may have to try to get up to the SHNF on sat morning to get a lil riding in. The East Side trails are the only ones open right now. If you take 45 north to the 1375 exit and go left over the freeway and keep going west till you pass the National Forest Rangers Station. Pass the National Forest office and go down the hill to the top of the next hill and there is a road to the right and a sign for the Trade Center. Go right on that road up until it turns to dirt and follow that dirt road to the left and around to the trail head access on the left side of the road just before a turn to the right. I dont remember the actual mileage, but I should get that info again. Its been about a year and a half or more since I rode up there last except for a recent family enduro.

Might see you guys there if anyone is going.

Who is going and who is thinking about going. If you do go, take some water and get a trail map at the trail head. If you dont have a forest sticker for the bike you can get em at many bike shops.

Might see yall out there.

Vaughn
